My daughter and I are new to candle making and to this forum, which we have learned a lot. My question is, we are having a time wicking our jars. We are using 4630 wax and the Libbey 917 hb rock tumblers and suppliers recommended Lx 18 - 22. None of the wicks will get a full melt pool all across the jar with 3 to 4 hr burn and they will not even after a 2nd or 3rd, continually tunneling. The 22 has a tall flame but flickers a-lot with a little smoking and 20 looks good but never burns across. Any suggestions for wax, wicks, or jars appreciated.
