CorgiCaper
Hi All 🌷 Lately I have been asked for samples of scents to be sent to potential clients (not wholesale). I only offer one size jar which has worked beautifully for me because it allows me to offer a large variety of scent combos. With that said, I do not offer clamshells. Clamshells would seem like the appropriate answer to the "can you send out samples" inquiry. But... I'm wondering if there are other ways that are more cost effective to remedy the sample need. I use soy and coconut wax and it doesn't set up firm enough to pop out of the container. Obviously, I can't send FO's 😂 Thanks, Corgi Caper
TallTayl
Condiment cups? They come pretty small and cheap as chips.
CorgiCaper
That's a great idea. Was hoping I could do a fabric swatch with a drop of oil on it encased in a cosmetic screw on cap container https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vivaplex-50-Clear-Empty-5-Gram-Plastic-Pot-Jars-Cosmetic-Containers/43513367?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=8753&adid=22222222228031448583&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=56385837656&wl4=pla-100829400776&wl5=9008052&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=115794464&wl11=online&wl12=43513367&wl13=&veh=sem Edited February 4, 2018 by CorgiCaper

CorgiCaper
I was really looking for a way to get scent to them without wasting wax. NG sends dipped wooden roses. Idk if I could send them in the mail. Either that or a swatch with a drop of FO on it and enclosed in a sealed small container. I need to figure this out 😑😑😐😐
TallTayl
There are those little heat seal pouches that would fit In a regular letter envelope.
CorgiCaper
Ohhhhhhh tell me about them please. Or if you have a link 💝💖🌷⚘🌼💐
TallTayl
Like these: https://www.bulkapothecary.com/silver-heat-seal-sample-packet-2-inch-x-4-75-inch/?gclid=Cj0KCQiA2NXTBRDoARIsAJRIvLwjlHBZ4jp5uFjUKUI39GzFhqbtO_seEXP3kpsa0jBcqgt9JLNDIjEaApXfEALw_wcB they come in many sizes. That one above is available on amazon, eBay, and tons of other places. You can cut that in half and get 2 sniffies from it. I seal mine with a hair straightener flat iron.
CorgiCaper
So, dab a drop of fragrance oil on it and then seal it to send it?
CorgiCaper
Or, I could put a dab on a square of fabric and tuck it in there
TallTayl
A small piece of watercolor paper is cheap, stiff and stuffs easily in the little packet.
