Lavender and Cedarwood

Hubby bought me some lotion and body wash from BBB for Xmas and I was surprised at the scents.  It is supposed to a blend that helps with sleep....lavender (yeah, I'm good with that) but it also has some cedarwood scent......I would never of thought about using cedar wood in a B&B product but ya know, it's really nice.  I can't say that it helps me get to sleep but the scent is really nice

Lavender seems to blend well with many other scents.  Someone gave me some Lavender & Apricot lotion from BBW, and I really like the smell.  I have Lavender and Apricot FO's so I did the Q-tip blend, and it smelled quite similar to the lotion.  I'm going to try that blend in candles soon.

 

I also have a Bottle of Lemon Lavender that is a YC dupe.  Oh, and I just bought a bottle of French Lavender & Honey from Aztec.  I can't imagine what Lavender and Cedarwood smells like but it sounds nice.

I soaped a Lavender and Apple scent for my beer soap and it smelled beautiful. The combo is clean, fruity, yet floral. Lavender just goes with so many scents.

 

My all time favorite lavender blends are lavender + clean cotton, and lavender + storm watch.

I wonder if this is popular lately, my mother also received a floral+apricot bath/body set for Christmas, think it was rose+apricot. I am usually not much into fruits or strong florals, but the body oil and such in the kit did smell pretty nice, even to me.

Now I want to try all of those blends.  I love Storm Watch anyway.  I have Millcreek's Back Roads which is a dupe of Storm Watch.

I just don't like floral scents at all, but one of my very favorite FO's is Aztec's Cantaloupe & Lily.  I'm finding I really like floral/fruit blends.
