Is it time yet to co-op any of my dupes?

I have had a few requests for more of my fragrance dupes. Is anyone in need of:

dragons blood

sweet amber

tonic

provence

inlet lakegrass

black vetyver cafe

pink sugar

egyptian dragon

if enough interest I'll start a co-op thread.

The lab will make as few as 10 lbs, but that comes with a $4 per lb penalty. At 20 lbs that $4 penalty  is waived.

I'll stock up on up to 5 lbs each of Amber, Egyptian dragon, black Vetyver cafe to get the ball rolling.

Oh my gosh, those all sound amazing!

I've never done a co-op before, what all is involved?

Pink Sugar is my biggest seller, I'd love a pound of that.

And I love anything Amber so I could do a pound of that too.

I have no idea what Egyptian Dragon smells like, but based on the name I bet I'd love it. So I guess I'd be in for either a pound of that or the DB, although I'm kind of tired of DB - but I bet yours is like super charged Dragon's Blood! 😄

The Lakegrass sounds interesting, what does it smell like?

This forum is the coolest! 😁

I can make up sniffies.

@Sarah S, if we can drum up enough participants to make the minimums we typically do a pre-buy for the fragrances. Everyone chips in for the cost of the drum of fragrance, bottles and freight to get the fragrances to my shop.

then I place the order with the lab.

Once the lab ships it to me, I bottle them. It takes a day or two depending on how much we all buy

then i pre-pack each person's order, and compare shipping costs via usps, ups and fed-ex. I invoice the participants for shipping to get their fragrance order to them.

when the shipping invoice is paid the bottles get packed and sent to you.

The last one we did was back in late may/early June.

SO have you been making headway with your 415 ? What are you do differently than before ?

This was before the changes in soy but I have confidence in getting it back, I am making good progress and have other blends in the works as well 😉

Can you describe this scent?   Does it do well in 464.

Also could you describe pink sugar and if that does well in 464?

Thanks.                    Trappeur

It did well in my last soy blend. It was subtle with all those comforting base notes. Did great in beeswax, and sold well to the earthy scent loving people. I can send you some to test - still need to put it into my current wax.

I use it mostly to blend when I need that dry base to add mystery and depth. It was a great note in an old leather book blend!

In soap this year I renamed it to something relating to a pop culture phenomenon and it sold faster than ever.

Thanks @TallTayl - I'm sure it's wonderful, and if it doesn't do well in my wax blend, I'll just make myself a batch of soap with it. :D

Hi @Trappeur I described it as velvety/creamy/woodsy with a sweet coffee note. At least that's what it smells like to me. :)
