soy wax in bulk

I had a friend stop by today who runs a consignment shop and was checking out how we made our candles, he has a lady that sells soy candles in his shop that is very well known around here for making candles, does 1000lbs at a time, and he was confused as to why my wax was in chips instead of slabs like hers, as far as I could tell on research all soy wax comes in flakes and paraffin comes in the slabs, or can you also get soy wax that way?

Parasoy comes in slabs, and if the soy amount is over a certain % they can be marketed as soy candles.
