Oh my, I will keep your sister in my prayers. Please keep me posted. In a private message if you would prefer. If you or your sister need to call me, I will not mind giving you my phone number as well. Dealing with chronic back pain is not fun and can lead to a road of very deep depression, as with I'm sure anyone with any type of disability and pain issues. Again, please keep me posted and I'm here if you need me. Thank you for your support and inspiration!

You're wonderful!! Thank you so much Pam! I will keep you in mind if my sister needs someone to talk to. You are so kind to offer to talk with her. Thank you again.  My sister was told today that she has arthritis in her spine along with the scoliosis and they want to do medial branch block injections for the pain. She seen the PA today at the office and he

just offered the injections. He said that as things progressed such as pain running down her legs, they will look at surgery.  Being in the medical field...I want a second opinion for her, so we shall be working on that tomorrow. We will take this one day at a time. :)

Can't wait to see your creations Pam! Moving forward and creating is a GOOD thing for all of us and it's what keeps us going. :) Have a blessed day!

Second opinions and sometimes 3rd is always best!! Especially when they want to cut on your spine. I receive injections now. For me, they are wonderful for about two weeks and thats it, but everyone is different. I get them every 6 weeks. Some people can get by with far less. Again, keep me posted and thank you:)

My case is a bit different of course, but I also get the injections and they are a blessing.  For me they last about three weeks and I get them every 6.  So glad the electroshock is done and that I didn't have the surgery.  My father in law did get the surgery after everything else failed and it was great for him.  See what is best for you though, and I agree get multiple opinions.  If I had gone with the first opinion about my hips they would have been replaced when I was 19, instead I had several other treatments and have lived productively and mostly pain free (well from my hips anyway) for a few decades since they wanted to replace them.

Thanks guys! My sister's second opinion is this Thursday. She will be seeing a scoliosis and spine specialist at the hospital I work for, so hoping for the best. You know when people are willing to share, a person REALLY realizes that they are truly not alone. You both have been so sweet to share. Blessings to you both! :)
