CallawayCandle Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 BC North is out of my white shaggie bears. So this is my question. Does anyone use a bear that would be similar to these? I don't want to buy the mixed cases. I just want a case of white shaggie bears. Any help would be appreciated. TIA, Heather:) Quote
SatinDucky Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Try posting this in the classifieds. I know a couple people had offered white scraggles when I need some tan... Quote
MichelleOH Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Check the classified section. I believe someone has white scraggles for sale about half way down the page.HTH Quote
AngelaVA Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 If you can't find them in the classys, try Snowtop Candle Supplies. They sell bears too. Also, try a search on here because bear suppliers have been discussed a couple of times before I think. Quote
Candle Man Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Here are some places to get them http://www.lonestarcandlesupply.com/stuffed_bears.htmlhttp://www.mcsoywax.com/Dippen%20Critters.htmhttp://www.buywax.com/product.asp?specific=jreojnq8http://www.snowtopcandlesupplies.com/shop/index.php?shop=1&itemid=106http://www.juliescandles.com/dippinbears.htmhttp://brighterscents.com/plfordi.html Quote
Marye Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Remember, I'm new so don't laugh to much - Can't you get them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby? Quote
Candle Man Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Scraggles is a First & Main brand bear. Most gift shops carry that brand. http://www.firstandmain.com/ Quote
CallawayCandle Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 Thanks guys for your help. I've never had to worry about getting them somewhere else they are quite pricey. I'm used to paying $2.75 plus shipping. Thanks for the posts. Heather:) Quote
mystical_angel1219 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Peaks sells those bears~ u might want to check the price there. Quote
dcroome2005 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Another great place that I have gotten them is at www.waxteddybear.comChristina Quote
7Angela7 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Peak's has them http://www.peakcandle.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PCMS&Product_Code=ACC-Bear7.5&Category_Code=ACC, 12 for $40 ($3.33 each) Quote
Scented Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Peaks is probably your closest resemblence. Quick shipping and great customer service too. Quote
candlebean Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I have been pricing bears lately too - I got a kit from waxteddybear.com and it's great, but to buy bears, I've found that Peaks is cheaper for the same bear. I love Peak - even though I'm in Connecticut and the shipping is more expensive than other places, the price of the actual bears is so much lower that it still comes out cheaper per bear with the higher shipping cost! I only wished I lived in Colorado so I could get them faster!! Quote
CallawayCandle Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 I like the looks of the bears they have at Peaks, but I don't want to buy a mixed case and I need to buy more than tweleve. I could buy two seperate doz, but then it gets more expensive. I normally use the BC bears from BCN.I really like these bears you can buy the whole case of one color for $99 which comes out to $2.75/ bear which is the cheapest I've found. Quote
Scented Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Call and talk to Nachelle at Peaks, she may swing a case for you of all white Quote

younggrasshper Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 When would it tell you that it was out of stock? I just added a case to my cart just to see if it would say they were out and it didn't? Or do you go through all of the check out before it tells you? IF it says right away.........then maybe they're back? Quote

IF it says right away.........then maybe they're back?It would show when you're viewing the product, like this: Seamless Aluminum Pouring Pitcher: 4 lbCode: ACC-MeltPot4lbPrice: $0.00 We are now temporarily SOLD OUT of 'Seamless Aluminum Pouring Pitcher: 4 lb'.Quantity in Basket: none If you were to click on it, you shouldn't be allowed to add it to the basket, because the button wouldn't be there. Looks like the bears are back then. Quote
