moniek Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 To those that use j223, when you pour your candles, do you let them set up in a cooler? On my 8 oz jj they are shrinking just a tad. Just enough to have to go and zap them with a heat gun! My 4 oz dont do that. Just wondering!! :undecided Quote
MaryinCary Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 It seems like they might be cooling a little fast. You can use a styro cooler to cover them, or a cardboard box works just as well. Try that out and see if it's better. Let us know how it works out for ya! Quote
linwvr Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 i use those thick koozies you get free from places and my jars fit perfectly into them HTH Quote
litl splinter Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I make our candles in the cool and sometimes cold basement, and always had problems with shrinkage. I use a styrofoam cooler to let them cool in. They always come out looking good. Quote
