Jcandleattic
Very pretty!! Love the rose mold. I have 3 that are very similar to that one and I use it a lot - not just around Valentine and not just with rose scent.

Candybee
I think they are beautiful soapies! You are so talented to have your first soaps look like that and also making your own mold. Can't wait to see what you do next!! 8-GRAN-ONES
Thanks for the compliments. .I will have to say. .it was challenging.I have a greater respect for those that do m&p all the time. .not quite the same as cp soaping.I don't have anything else planned..I need to get more m&p base. .i barely had enough to do this project.I think I am going to try Stephison (sp?) M&P next. .From essentials by Catalina. .And I want to try adding oils an butters to it to make it more moisturizing. .

Daisymay66
Wow! That's the first time you ever made m&p? I want to learn how so bad but with so many bases out there, I don't know where to start. Does BB have good bases? I read a post that Candybee and Dave had mentioned C&S and CW have really good bases??
8-GRAN-ONES
I have heard Bb has good m&p I have not use theirs.. the one I used was from wholesale supplies plus also I don't know where you live but essentials by Catalina carries stephenson brand..which is supposed to be the best from what I have read..Also the chemistry store has it in sale right now if it is closer to you..SHipping is getting so high..i try to find where I can buy so shipping doesn't have to go so far that way it's not so expensive.. not_ally
Really, really good, you skipped a bunch of steps on the learning curve. The embeds are perfect, and they are hard to do, you have to guage temps, placement, etc.. Congratulations! Also, great work on the mold, I bought stuff to make one months ago and am afraid to try it. People like different bases, I am definitely an SFIC fan, which I buy from Wisteria Lane (close for me so shipping is cheaper and I buy in 50 lots so it is cheaper) although BB sells it too. I just read the ingredients on all the bases, the simpler the better. Edited March 16, 2015 by not_ally
