For me, Hotel Costes smells like something that went bad in the refrigerator a few weeks ago. I don't like it OOB, I don't like it in a candle. Wierd, since everyone else LOVES it. I have checked the description and it does not list vetiver, but it smells like it has vetiver in it and vetiver EO makes me gag. Literally.I hope I did not offend anyone with my description - I am not offended when people describe their take on Patchouli. We all have different smell receptors and it is what it is. I am not the least offended I just think it's funny- everyone perceives scent so different and this one is very different....I haven't come close to smelling another scent like it....I definitely think for as expensive as it is if others try it- ask for a sample from someone on here or only get the 1 ounce to see what you thinkAnd I think your right about it having Vetiver in it - I love Vetiver mixed not alone- some if my most favorite perfumes have this in it....maybe that's why I love it so much!
