Guest OldGlory
So here is a follow up picture on the 6 inch tall container with the wood wick. I finally got the right combination of sizes, and the picture shows the wick having burned about 4" down. The sides of the jar are warm but not hot by any stretch of the imagination. The wick has not been trimmed since about an inch down and it does not need it. These are the BCN wood wicks, and they are performing beyond my expectations. Guest OldGlory
The crackle really echoes down in this jar, lol. Scares me sometimes.

HorseScentS
Cool! I can't wait to try this. Thanks for the info everybody! I also give a pair of toenail clippers to each customer I bought a Brother P-touch labeler on sale for $9.00 at Staples. It prints black on clear tape, so I use it to print a humorous label to stick on the toenail clippers.
HorseScentS
OG, what a brilliant strategy for trimming the width to suit the bottom of the jar! Thanks!
