Victorian Jar From Wal-Mart/Wich....

Recommended Posts

I use Ky pure soy, and dye flakes,Could anyone suggest wich wick I could start with on this jar? I have tried the HTP-1212,1312, I did try and trim the wick to 1/4" but they still dance alot and throw black smoke. I have some samples of performa, paper, LX's, 60 & 62 cotton. I was leaning toward the LX's,

Any help at all would be appreciated, Thank You

nayarx8, I don't know how to post any pictures, sorry. The jar is kinda squarish with rounded corners and has a glass top lid it's octagon shape with a flower on the top, 16oz.

Dollz, Thanks for the suggestion, if I can't get them single wicked, I'll probably end up double wicking. All the scents you use in that conainer take the 2-HTP-83's?

that sounds like ones i get from wal-mart. i have used 1 wick, millcreek's 62-52-18C, but i had to trim it before each burn. it did burn completely, though. now, i use candles and supplies cd-14 wicks, one of them. it always looks like the container is not going to burn clean during the first couple of burns, but then it eventually does and the wick doesnt have to be trimmed every time. and my customers still remark that they burn very clean. hope this helps!
