candijess Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I want to get started making soy candles. This message board is fantastic and I have learned a lot already. Most people advise buying a kit first. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a good kit? Quote
babyrn Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Where do you live? I ask this because if you live close to a supplier and can save on shipping in the future when you are totally addicted to candlemaking, I would try there. If not, Bittercreek North has a starter soy container kit. I'm not sure of any other suppliers for soy starters. Good luck! Quote
candijess Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 I live in Jacksonville, FL right now but we are relocating to Green Bay, WI in June. Thanks! Quote
babyrn Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Well then I would definately try Bittercreek North. They are in Ashland, Wisconsin. Don't know if that is driving distance for you, but it should still save you on shipping. I order from them all the time and use their EZSOY wax for candles. Their addy is www.bittercreek.com. Quote
