flowerbaby Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 I have been using the KY133 Paraffin Wax for my tarts as I have been told that paraffin wax has the best scent throw. Today when we were pouring tarts, I was having problems with the oil separating from the wax. I checked the temperature and it was 180 and I stirred it in for 2 minutes. Don't know what is happening. Belinda Posted February 8, 2014 Share Posted February 8, 2014 I've had that happen before too. Sometimes I heat mine a little higher and the oil will blend in better. I think it depends on the oil. I've added as low as 170 and it mixed in fine and then have had to heat to 185 to get it to mix.
