? about adding fragrance to artificial roses(flowers)

Does any one know how to add fragrance to artificial roses (flowers) so they can be scented? I want to do some for V-Day. Should I use straight fo and spray it to the roses? or should I use half dpg and half fo? Thanks for any help. Do not know if I posted this in the right place or not

I think using a straight fo would make them look like you sprayed them with oil. All splatchy. I have never used DPG so I dont know what that'd do. I'd suggest the linen/body spray base like WSP carries. A former boss used to spray the stores fake roses with rose scented room freshener all the time, worked great, and didn't effect the look of the roses at all. HTH

I was going to suggest spraying them too with the linen base -

Portia - I have a friend who dips them in scented wax - very nice!

I do that all the time. I make silk arrangements and sell spray with them (scent of their choice) I call them Scented Room Freshener Floral Arrangements.

I think if you go the route of spraying them w/ linen spray you might want to sell a small bottle of linen spray w/ the flowers.

Dipping them will yield a longer stronger smell.
