ebcandles Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Hi:yay: Since this new wax is slightly greyish, does anyone have suggestions as to getting a more whitish colored candle without added a white color block?Carmen Quote
KFTS Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 adding white is all I can think of, or try another wax, Cargil V1 is white. Quote
Kaybee23 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Taylored Concepts carries a white dye that is supposed to lighten up the creamy appearance of the soy, it may work. You could always call and talk to Robert, he is very helpful. www.tayloredconcepts.com Quote
Casey Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 I poured white votives w/ it as is, nobody noticed Quote
SoyKandles Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Carmen:I used 50 #'s of this grayish votive wax and I was told that no matter how much white you put in it, it wouldn't be white. Have you tried just leaving it natural? It colored just fine. I just got another 50 #'s of it and this new wax is not gray - great news!!Susan Quote
ebcandles Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 Your right Susan. With each new batch that I get, the color changes. Not cool. Quote
mystical_angel1219 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Your right Susan. With each new batch that I get, the color changes. Not cool.Yes I agree.I love this wax, but lately I am not digging the color changes. This new lot she is selling now is much better. Good thing I stocked up before this lot or I would have been so pissed. Nothing annoys me more than inconsistency in my finished products. Whats wrong with these suppliers! Quote
