Gypsyjen Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I was wondering, when y'all get a new batch of wax, do you only pour one test candle with one FO? You don't test EVERY FO in the new batch of wax, do you? :whoohoo: *getdown* (Just because I like the new smileys!) Quote
ADSoy Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 I've been testing 3 waxes and have decided on one I like the best so I will test all the FO's that I plan to use. Some FO's seem more oily and some smell totally different when burned - it's just worth it to test them. Linda Quote
Gypsyjen Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 Thanks for the reply. What I meant was, when you go through a 200 lb (more or less) batch of wax, then order in a new batch of the SAME wax. How much testing do you do with this new batch? Quote
Candlegurl Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 It's not necessary to test each scent...just one, to make sure it's 'acting' the same as the last batch. hth Stacy Quote
Holly Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 I am glad you posted this question. I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if others also only test one or maybe two to make sure. It sure would dreadful to test them ALL over again. Quote
Gypsyjen Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 Yeah, no doubt...especially as I am planning to carry 40 or more scents...LOL there goes any profits!! Quote
