Hi fellow lovers of smell goods! I’m so excited to have come across his forum! I’m very new at making aroma bead ornies and have had lots of fun exploring different suppliers and experimenting with different FO...until now. I recently ordered 10 pounds of aroma beads from AAA Candle Supply and for the life of me cannot get them to absorb the FO, some with dyes, some without. I’m aware that some take longer than others including vanilla and leather but I’m approaching 3 WEEKS with 6 different fragrances, all of which I’ve never had trouble with before using beads from other suppliers. There seems to be no end in sight! So my questions are, has anyone else purchased aroma beads from AAA Candle Supply and had this issue?? And does anyone have any suggestions on how to speed up this process?? I’ve reached out to AAA through email, phone and Facebook to no avail and am becoming increasingly frustrated. I thought I’d reach out on here in one last ditch effort before throwing this money in the trash. TIA! Bekah

I realized that most of my FOs for Fall & Winter are foodie type scents. Do you have any recommendations for other scents? I love my bakery & food fragrances, obv., but I think I should expand my variety a little bit.

I have developed an enormous trust for candle science FOs. What do most of you consider to be staple FOs from them? I know for sure I have a three that I will make mine: Mcintosh Apple, Mediterranean Fig and Amber Noir some of mine. Which ones are great performers for you? Strong scented? Thanks guys

Do you have a favorite fragrance for shampoos/hair products? I've been experimenting with making my own & am having a hard time moving past EOs. It's not that I don't want to, I'm just indecisive.

I am a newbie and do not sell candles. So far I have only sampled FOs from CS and Northstar. So far everything I have ordered from CS is amazing. I ordered 3 FOs from Northstar and will never order again. At the highest % the HT was horrible. I just received some samples sizes from Lonestar (because I love their ) but when I opened them, the scent is very very weak. If you use Lonestar do you find that after poured the scent level changes? Just wondering.

Geez, I am full of questions today... Do you guys use on your candles the name that supplier uses for that specific fragrance or do you change it to your own names? Not sure if using the same name is ethical/appropriate? I am new to all this. Thanks

Do you find that NG's FOs are as strong as other supplier's FOs in wax tarts? Or do you find they're all about the same?
