  1. I've been gone from this since last August. I worked hard enough to keep stock on-hand for my best customer. It was a long line of unfortunate and costly incidents I had to handle. I'm back into it now, and I realize I've forgotten a few things. I'm embarrassed to say that I have about fifteen different waxes. I haven't even tried most of them. Here is my first question: Is there any critically, significant difference between IGI 4627 Comfort Blend and IGI 4630 Harmony Blend? As I read the product fact sheet, I can't see much difference. I find both of them to work well for me. I'm trying to decide what waxes to eliminate, and move forward with as few as possible.
  2. Hi guys, I have read different posts on using 4627. Some of you use different temperatures for heating, mixing FOs and pouring for this wax. What method do you get the best results with this wax? I like to use max FO % possible. How much do you heat it to? At what temperature do you add the FO? When do you add your dye? At what temperature do you pour? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all
  3. I just received my 25lb bag of 4627 and I must say I AM SUPER INTIMIDATED by it. How do you cut, weight, and store this? I don't know where to start. Do you cut or open and re-seal the bag? How do you clean up the mess? If I cut the bag how do I close it again? Ugh! I am excited and enthusiastic about using it because I have heard great reviews but I don't know where to start. Any help to this newbie would be helpful. I don't sell candles but still want to get the best results for my personal use and for gifting. Thanks guys :-)
  4. Hey There..I am having all kind of wicking issues and insecurities. Today I wicked a 1lb loaf pan to make a banana nut loaf bread candle. Im usin 4627 and put 3 LX 12 in it. Any suggestions. My issue is that my toppings for most of my desert candles are made of IGI 6006. Although the LX may be sufficent for the comfort blend the para soy struggles with it...Ugh...Getting rather expensive and frustrating Any help is appreciated..
  5. I bought this wax because I keep having issues with sinking and holes in my candle, with this being a supposed 'single pour' I thought I'd give it a shot. I made three candles with it last night and two had air bubbles (I guess) that caused holes and the third is sinking the more it cools. Did I do something wrong? They looked perfect last night and this morning they're consistently looking worse.. =( I poured about 175F which seems to be the optimal temp from what I found. They are cooling slowly... so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
