    Just poured my first 4 palm wax candles. I heated the wax to 200 then poured into containers at 186. They just started cooling down. I did preheat the libbey 11oz jars. 2 questions. Do I need to poke holes in top at certain point? About how long after cooldown? Do I need to flip jars over at some point. Think I read somewhere that people do that to fix the wick or some such thing of air that is trapped? Thanks

    If I make a palm wax candle do I need to be concerned with so flashpoint? Most essential oils have a flashpoint under 190 yet I need to heat wax to 200 and pour at 195. Wouldn't there be a problem poring an eo with 140 flashpoint into a pot of 200 degree wax?

    I'm new to candle making. What does ht stand for? Does palm wax work in tins? Thanks
