  1. HTH... http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_does_Kosher_mean
  2. Yes the minimum order is 2 pallets at a time with a total order of 24,000 lbs throughout the year. Call them and they will tell you the same thing. It may not say it on their website but that is their minimum.
  3. Trish is correct. Minimum is two pallets at a time, meaning you can't order one. You also have to order 24,000 lbs throughout the year in order to get the pricing.
  4. You can get them at Darice etc..much cheaper to..I think a 20 pack is like .80¢ each...Yup just checked and that's the cost. They also now have votive style in different colors. p.s. they throw no heat what so ever.
  5. I don't know what organization it is but it's the one with the candle flame that say's "We've Checked" what a bunch of BS that site is. Pay us and you can use our logo. They don't even bother to check your product, so long as you pay your good to go. I don't even bother with that kind of bs. Licensing yeah I would love to that kind of endorsement if my product was truly tested.
  6. are you using the premium cart? I love Mal's so far for the price. Been using it for well over three years and not once a problem..well cept for paypal payments, sometimes I don't always get an on line order that is paying by paypal, not sure if it's on paypals end or Mal's.
  7. I have to qudripple fripple Hand Craft Market http://www.handcraftmarket.com/ I love love love that my wholesale customers have their own login info and don't share some generic password. They each have their own login info which to me anyway is very professional others call it a pita but but they can go through their order history to see what they ordered the last time etc. I do that myself on some of my suppliers to make sure I'm getting what I ordered the last time. I was a bit confused..okay maybe at a complete loss at first with uploading graphics etc but PA and GG helped me out..course I probably wouldn't would have had to bother either of them if I just read the instructions..lmao..yeah right instructions smuctions, who needs em??? lol..Very easy once you get used to it and coming from frontpage and publishing was a tad new to me..but I did it.
  8. To much work. Adding the 10% works out perfectly, no messing around with numbers etc.
  9. I'm on the opposite end of spectrum here...If you are figuring in all of your expenses to make the product (including shipping) X2 for wholesale, X3 or 4 for retail you are in fact gigging your customers X2 and so on for your shipping, then charging them for their own shipping on top of it. I simply tack on another 10% to their orders shipping cost, which ends up being a couple of extra bucks that the customer doesn't even see...All works out.
  10. JMHO I wouldn't buy supplies from anyone who also sells their retail candles on the same site as their wholesale supplies. At least get another domain name for your own products.
  11. I use three different programs Photo Shop, PSP 7 and PSP 8. Somethings are easier to do in one program then toss it over to another program to do other things....
  12. Instead of concentrating on bennies of one wax compared to another (which you should know if you are using the wax in the first place) why not concentrate your efforts on the "hand poured" aspect. This has been lost in the great soy debate. Who cares? No one that's who. I have customers who refuse to burn a soy candle and I've had people turn away from me because they were not all soy (I use my own blend of para & soy), no matter what you say about "your wax" it doesn't matter. We are ganging up against eachother when we should be ganging up on the big boys and why our product is so much more superior then thiers. Do they give a rats ass how their candles burn? Do they care about testing all different supplier oils? Do they offer a return? Are they just a phone call away with a real person? NO...so why not drive your product home with what is great about it and how much effort you put into testing it? That is my .02¢ worth and like someone else said give it back when you are done.. :embarasse
  13. Fed Ex charges it as well but always has....it seems to be a percentage though...For instance a 14.22 shipment, the fuel surchage was .58...You do the math though..lol...I just know Fed Ex is waaaay cheaper the UPS...and I've never ever had a shipping problem with them....
  14. Ain't that the truth!!??? Good god that stuff stinks to hi heaven!!! It's the same shit they use to dye leather and use it in wood stains...GROSS!!! and to burn it???? Ah yeah...the soy won't kill ya but the dye will.. There is a supplier...damn can't think of the name...who has really nice not icky stinky dyes but you have to use ooooodles of the stuff....Just by Nature? I think that's the name of the supplier.
