  1. Check with your nearest Staples, Office Max or Office Depot. They will help you the most and have great prices and you can see what it looks like.
  2. Just finished our last 2 craft shows and wickless (10oz), tarts, votives, tealights were hot. Just introded the reeds to our area and they seem be look promising. We will see what next season brings. Pillars and jars were slower, but I think wickless have a promise also. D&J
  3. We got a nice ez up fom Sam's club for about $150 a few years back. I tcame th three sides. It is 10' x 10' and nice height. Bags - uline.com, papermart.com, associatedbag.com to name a few
  4. Sorry t tok so long to return back to yu all. Thanks for the input. The problem is my shrink wrap dos not lok good. The ends a bunched and labels do not stick well. Any help on th method for votives and such. Thanks again
  5. Most of the show we do have signs prohibiting cameras from customers. Crafters may take photos of their own booths prior to the show opening ONLY. All others are asked to leave. The only problem nopw is the blasted cell/cameras, easily hidden and quick w/o flash.
  6. Thanks, I found an archive on this after I had posted. Looks like what I have tried is what everyone else is doing. Has anyone used clamshells for votives? If so was it succesfull (I do craft shows not direct retail). I may re-think the poly bag and string tag idea, too.
  7. I have been trying to find the 'best' packaging for my votives. I have about 50 scents (trying to downsize) and a variety of colors. I have tried small plastic bags with nice ties and labels on the bags. I have tried shrink wrap with labels on the tops or sides. Neither have worked out well. Does anyone have any other good ideas. I do not want to leave them unwrapped and I need to have them labelled for scent for the customer. Thanks a bunch in advance for your ideas! Dave
  8. I have also used Soy PB, VB and ECO advanced, pour at about 110-120 with no repours and nice tops!
  9. I use Spring Rain and Rain from Candles and Supplies. Nice fresh rain scent
  10. Sorry, it is LP density, but will throw in about 2 # of MP
  11. If have about ten pounds of gel wax (MD) I am looking to get rid of, if someone wants for a reasonable price plus shipping. it is in original back, unopened. PM me if interested
  12. Actually, it sounds more ,like a pyramid scam. Consultants getting more sonsultants under the to sell a product, they can't sell. Does it cost anything to become a consultant? I would stay from it. Sell your own items, you know what they are!
  13. How about Natural-scent or Natural-scence both web names are open, Natural-scents is NOT Dave
  14. Yes, each state is different. In Illinois I had to get a license and a tax number. In Wisconsin just a business registration number (includes tax number). If you have employees, its federal emplyee ID number (FEIN), withholding, workers comp... (AHHHHHHH!). Also in Wisconsin, if you have sales less than $2000, you dod not need to get a tax number or colelct tax, but you must pay the tax on in-state purchases. Check your states website and Treasury Agency.
