  1. Thank you for your help. Back to the testing board I go.
  2. Hi all- I might not be looking in the right archives or (couldnt be that I am a little impatient) but is there such a thing as using too much dye as with fragrances? I made a few soy candles (which I know will be creamy) but the color is just too light. Is there a "ok, you can stop with the color point"? Thanks for any sharing you want to give. Venie
  3. Thank you all so much for all the Welcomes and the great advice. I know I am going to learn so much and have some fun too...
  4. I'm a newbie, but I know yummy when I see it.
  5. Hi All, Actually my original title was going to be... "what you just dont melt wax, add fragrance and some color and poof, a candle is born?" After reading this forum for over a week, (it took me that long to get brave enough to post) I have such a new outlook and a appreciation for candle making, thanks to all of you. Yes, I do have tons and tons of questions, but I think the first one is.... What makes the perfect candle? What do I want my candles to do? (yea, I know that was two questions) Thanks for now and for all the other questions us newbies have.
