  1. I use the peaks version. Sells well for me in lotions and roll on perfume, but not in melts or soap. Odd but true.
  2. I mix 4794 with Clarus 3022 - 40/60% mix. Works great and has a richness to it that I like a lot. Works great in Scentsy burners.
  3. Thanks, all. Still going great. I love it!!! I'm getting such great feedback on the store and products. I guess the obsessive 5 years of testing, tweaking, testing and testing again has paid off. I think my favorite part is that I feel so confident with my products. I know they are good. If I do say so myself.
  4. I want!! I want!! Really cool looking!! Great job.
  5. Hum, sounds like it is worth a try. Thanks. I need to go look at the samples I have from Tennessee candle supply. I hope I ordered the sugar cookie. Here I go to look.
  6. Nice!! I really like the glop swirl technique!! Done a few of those myself. They look really great!!
  7. Beautiful. I want to see this cut. Love the color combo.
  8. Oops. Pictures are sideways and not the pictures I meant to post, but you get the idea. :)
  9. I just opened a small store in my little hometown. Just finished my first weekend and a had great turnout and a fabulous time. I can't believe how fun it is. It's hard work, as you all know, but I love it. I want to thank all of you on this board for all the great help and info over the years. You all rock!!! Here's some pics of my store.
  10. Thanks, Chris. Located in So. Nevada. But travel to So. Cal and Utah often.
  11. I need candle wholesale supplier for my new shop. Anyone interested?? PM me.
  12. I just ordered a whole bunch of samples. <edited> Couldn't pass that up. I'm just too picky to buy 16 ozers withot testing them first.
  13. I'm intrigued. I haven't tried Somali Rose, but have not been disappointed with MMS FOs. Might have to give it a try.
  14. Noticed a sale posted for this supplier. Any updates on these fos. How is the testing going?
  15. I have used 6006 in the past, but currently use my own parasol blend. Here are some of my super throwers. Mac Apple- CS Christmas Hearth -CS Rosemary Mint - Soappalooza Apple Crisp Deluxe- Pure Frag oil Sugar Cookie Royale Cinnamon Broom- Fragrance Buddy Christmas Tree - Fillmore Container Cedar Garland - Fillmore witches Brew - MW Welcome Home - MMS South Pacific Sea, Lavender Vanilla, J&J Soothing Lavender - Candle Source
  16. I agree with moonshine. Winter festival is very close to the MS original and was a big seller for me in tarts.
  17. Welcome!! This a great forum!! LEARNED many things here. Fellow dog person here- just don't let dogs or kids know it.
  18. Looks like their 1 ouncers are $1.50 each - and it is letting me add as many as I want to the cart. Shipping is also reasonable. Guess I got to try me a new Supplier. -- This darn forum.
  19. Belinda, do you mind sharing the website address. I couldn't find in a web search? TIA
  20. I ordered a bunch of Sc**tsy dupes from them a few years ago in SOS grade and was very disappointed. Could not get to throw well and most did not smell like Scentsy at all, IMO. I just tried them again a month ago and ordered the extreme grade. Here is what I ordered: Autumn Sunset - extreme grade - dud!!! Little CT or HT Winter Wonderland - extreme grade - OK - mint chocolate - but like other ones just as well - not worth the price, IMO Spiced Grapefruit - extreme grade - strong, but not my cup of tea - smells like public restroom to me - but others like it Amber Romance - extreme - strong and wonderful !!! Brown Sugar Fig - extreme - AWESOME - Strong and yummy! I love this fragrance and have had trouble finding one that throws. This one throws great!!! I would reorder Amber Romance and Brown Sugar Fig. It's just hit and miss - like any other Supplier. Oh, and BTW, I did use 6% instead of my normal 10% in tarts.
  21. I made Darwin's and Kat's recipe when I first started soaping a few years ago. I really liked Darwin's recipe, but ultimately went for less CO and PKO in my bar. Might have to try it again now that I have some experience to see if I still like it. I have a block about going much above 16 on the cleansing number - in soapcalc. I know that is still possible to make a nice bar with higher cleansing, but just can't seem to do it.
  22. Those look great!!! They are very rustic, yet artistic. Love them!!!!
