  1. I really like KY's Cinna Vanilla in my C-3 soy wax. It has a great throw after a day or so. Not much curing needed at all! I renamed it Spiced Vanilla and it was my last fundraiser's biggest seller. HTH!
  2. I love KY Candle Wax Supply FO's. I haven't found one yet that I don't like!
  3. I love love love KY's Pearberry. It's a dead on dupe, and it's super strong. My customers love it too!
  4. That's great, thanks everyone for the reviews! I ordered a gallon over the weekend so I'm just waiting for it to get here so I can play. What would be great is if someone would come up with a concentrate of some sort for this to save on the shipping, since it's probably mostly water. Of course, maybe someone does have this already and I've just missed it.
  5. I'm looking for some opinions on Vickey's room spray base. I'd like to start carrying something like it, but I haven't seen any reviews on her message board and I didn't find much here when I searched. I read where WSP's is supposed to be wonderful, but holy cow ~ I can't carry something that's that expensive! Any opinions? Much appreciated, thanks!
  6. I have to agree with koala-nut, Backwoods is by far the best Lilac I've ever smelled. I just got the sample in the other day and poured it up. It's heavenly! It's the most realistic one I've tried.
  7. I did a search and there isn't too much talk on here about Alabaster's FO's. I've never ordered from them, but I've been looking at their website and their FO prices are really decent. Any rec's for good strong throwers I should try? I use soy wax for containers and a para-soy blend for melts and pillars. I'm mostly wondering about their Vanilla Grapefruit and Wild Oats & Honey. Anybody try those? TIA! :highfive:
  8. Just thought I'd share my experience with the Handmade Beauty Network thus far. I haven't joined or anything yet, but I did email for information this morning regarding the insurance and the reply I received was both prompt and informative. I believe the president of the group was the one that responded. I was afraid that their policy only covered retail (because I was considering joining the Ohio Arts and Crafts Guild for their insurance and then read on here somewhere that their policy doesn't cover wholesale, and I need to be covered for that) and she answered all my questions thoroughly. She also sent me another email with the entire master policy for review. I had my hubby look over it (because I'm clueless with this type of thing) and he thinks it is a pretty good policy. And, it does cover candlemakers. I believe the Soap Guild requires that you do soap in order to join. I know the Guild has a referral for candlemakers on their site that directs to Handmade Beauty Network for the insurance. I'll definitely be joining. $516 annually is amazing. I was paying $1600/year for insurance and my policy is up for renewal. Just think of all the FO's I can get with that extra $1100. lol PS: In case you are wondering, this policy DOES cover wholesale as well as retail.
