Just wanted to say that I've never sold here or anything but I have shopped there and it is awesome. I live really close so I can every month if I want to There are always a ton of people there, but I don't know how much you can make. The last time I was there I don't remember seeing a ton of candle people though. I remember seeing one or two, but I did only look in the pavillions, so I don't know what was actually out in the arbors and on the grounds. Anyway, just thought I'd comment on that.

I also do web and graphic design work. I can create logos and also design websites and auction templates. I like it! It seems very easy to navigate and the pictures of your products are great. I also like the color scheme, Very Nice!

He He, MizBizzy, yeah I'm pretty much just a lurker, lol I havn't been making candles much this past year so I havn't had much to share, but I'm about to get back into the swing of things and start up again. I'm planning a new line of Fairy inspired candles and gifts for my Tinker Bell site. So I'll try to be more active on the boards now. Here is what I put togethor today. It was a lot of fun Oh, and to answer about graphics programs, I personally use Paint Shop Pro 9 and Adobe Illustrator, and Poser to make some of the clipart I use. I stuck with the original colors from your logo since everyone was saying they liked them and I really liked the color combo as well. Update: Here is a quick update with a circular version ~*Lisa*~

Yummy! That looks great, I've tried a couple sundae candles like that but they didn't look that good.

That is a special site where the images you buy can be used on advertising and product labels and such, I reread the license agreement just to make sure. The images are royalty free, not copyright free. So you can use them and not have to pay royaltyies for using them. So if thats what you were wanting to use it for then I'm pretty sure its ok.

What do you think of the new version? You can see it by clicking on the old smaller one, the new one I removed the scent, I think I'm going to put that on a smaller lable with the amount and my contact info. I'll be playing around with seeing how it looks on the actual bottles this weekend. So I'll take pictures and show you all. Thanks for you help.

lol, well that is something I never would have thought would be called Pixie Dust, but I guess Disney tries to make everything sound better. The pixie dust I sell is basically glitter in cute little jars, I mainly sell them as party favors for Tink themed birthday parties.

Hey Everyone, I've been working on a label for some new products I'm going to be offering for sale on my Tinker Bell website, I currently sell Pixie Dust so I thought it would be cool to offer sparklilng bath and body products to go long with that. I think I'm going to begin with lotion and then perhaps some lip balm and little things like that. This is the first label design I have come up with. Thanks so much for the info and links, I'm going to check them out now and add them to my faves so I can keep learning. It looks like so much fun to make soap, so I'm sure I'm going to try it. I'll post pics of my first attempts, hopfully they won't be too humiliating, lol

I'm thinking about starting to make soaps and lotions. Do any of you know any great books or websites with information about soapmaking and things like that. I havn't done a great amount of searching yet, I thought you all might know the best places to look I'm really wanting to try to make the kind of soaps I've been seeing in the gallery, with the swirls all through the soap. Would love to hear your suggestions about what I should check out. Thanks so much!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad to be back. But I do have to say, Dee I also say the same thing about pillar makers. I've only tried to make pillars once, but they didn't turn out well at all. So thats why I'm sticking with containers, at least for the moment.

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I was a member on the old board and just now got around to reregistering. I've been lurking for a while though, lol So I thought I would start of by showing off a few of my candles. I mainly just make jar candles, but am going to begin making bakery candles as well, so I'll post some pics of those when I get some finished.
