Burn 1 hour for every inch of diameter so your 3 inch candle should burn for 3 hours melt pool should be atleast 1/4 inch melted or atleast all the way to the edge.
The jar will get hotter as it burns down further so my rule don’t judge a candle until the 3rd burn or until the jar is halfway.
Force gel in the oven on 170 degrees and than turn oven off. Use heating pad for a couple of hours, I have these corn warmers I microwave and put on the bottom of the log and cover with towels.

I have only used Sapmoss, Molton Brown, Lime Margarita in Cold process soap their fragrances are very strong and have holding power in cold process soap.
