This seems like an overqualified Dry Mask mix to me. If you search for Dry Masks you'll see that they are based on clays with powdered goodies and powdered scrubbies into the blend. An upside to the Dry Mask mix is that you can mix with water OR honey, yogurt, milk, fruit or veg puree, juice or any liquidish substance depending on your preferences. Dry Masks can be thin and just a cleanser or thicker as well.. a mask. I looove Dry mask mixes. Here's one of my fave basic ones: Pink Kaolin Clay 75% powdered Coconut Milk 22% powdered oatmeal 3% I like adding honey, or pureed cucumbers or avocados to mine for a facial. If just cleaning and exfoliating i add water. Just a different outlook on it. I agree that there are alot of fillers in the Bareminerals one.

I'm doing this experiment too, I've been chasing labels on all my faves in the house down and researching all the ingredients. I've done a few of the Lush lotions and I use alot of Curel lotion previously due to sensitive skin issues and I have come up with a few lotion batches that are sooo close but better. It's very empowering to make that stuff by my own hands. My challenge now is to contiune formulating but then make actual large sizes of my own formulae that turns out consistently the same each time. yay! Good Luck!

Hi, I saw you guys chatting about the sale and just wanted to add my excitement to the mix too. I put my order in on Saturday and i can't wait till they all get here. I've heard really great things about their pumpkin scents and i'm a sucker for that type. I hope I can do them justice in soaping recipes. I did go a little overboard on the scents and ordered way too many. *blush* I hear that one of the biggest orders they had was a qty of 377 or something like that. i loove smelly good stuffs.

Hello, just joined this forum nice to meet you. I wanted to add that the Ah/Re sale is very worth the cart difficulties and occasional timeouts. I was lucky enough to perservere on Saturday to get my order in. The sale is just so huge that everyone wants in. Of course they do right?!
