    ok, thanks. I will have to read up more about the waxes. I wanted to try it because it was local. I might have to get a sample from peak and compare.

    I have not used Glass Glow. This is my first try with palm wax. On Peak's website they describe their GG having a "crystal like appearance" as well, so I would assume they are similiar. I am not sure if Taylored is the same, but the wax is very pretty and does produce crystal/icicles. Throw is good too. HTH

    In a pinch, Spectrum shortenening is palm oil. You can get at whole foods, and health food stores. I buy it at Target, but not every target carries it.

    I am testing the palm waxes with Taylored Concepts. The pillar blend looks to be feather, and their container looks to be glassglow. They are called Robnat wax. Taylored is local for me.

    Love Med. Fig - super strong in parasoy and cp soap Day at the Spa - strong, clean and fresh with lemon notes Baby Powder - best bp I have ever used. Strong Smoke and Odor Eliminator - spicy strong Didn't Care for Buttercream - extremely weak in parasoy and J223 Frankincense and Myrhh Pear Glace - nice oob, but weak in candles and soap Sex on the Beach - just my preference but it was pineapple overload..eek

    Mediterranean Fig omg this is super strong and a slice a heaven in soap ;-) I love Day at the Spa in candles...I am going to try it in soap soon.

    I second Peak's...awesome throw..and perfect dupe. They have fantastic Customer Service and fast shipping like CS (in my experience) Lonestar's Clean Cotton is nice and strong too. I have not tried their downy scent yet. They are local for me. HTH

I agree with Scented on these too ;-) I don't know if I am much help, but thats what comes to my feeble mind at the moment.
