  1. I use the old Tupperware cheese/butter keepers, got two, a 1 lb and 8 oz one and wouldn't be without them. The 8 oz one is especially handy when you don't want to make heaps.
  2. Please take it out of the silicone pan first before cutting unless you aren't planning on using the pan again.
  3. The only thing l can think of adding is that if you have a shiny surface on your silicone mould you get a shiny surface on your soap,if its a dull surface you get a dull finish to your soap.
  4. I keep all my silica gel sachets that come in pills etc and for small soaps or embeds that start to sweat l pop them in a bag with some of the packets of silica and usually overnight the sweating goes.
  5. I never had any trouble with Pink Sugar turning brown until l used it in Goats milk base then it turned a really horrible dark brown and yet l have coconut ice slices from a couple of months ago which are still as pink as ever.I really don't like adding things to the base that are unnecessary but l am starting to think maybe l should add it just in case. .
  6. They look like happy soaps, bright and colorful.Congratulations to you and your son on your lovely soaps.
  7. You will probably get a surprise how little you use after making Soy candles. You only need 1-2% of your base or 10-20 grams per Kg sorry l only know it in kilo's

    M&P type?

This is the only base l use ,probably not quite as creamy as other bases but you can add extra oils to compensate for that.I use it mainly because its low sweat and since we have a lot of humidity in the warmer weather it does hold up to its claim. My only problem is that in Australia we can only get the opaque not the clear which is a pain especially if l use clear and opaque in the one bar.
