  1. Thanks everyone I tryed it on my hands and I could hear it sizzle ...So I am sure it isn't ready yet then I sorta tounge tasted it and it is going to be awhile before it is ready for the bath tub! Thanks for the help. Nedra
  2. Thanks everyone for the help. I will check on getting a stick blender today! I may have unmolded too soon. It was thicker then creme cheese but they are getting hard now. How long do I have to wait to use it? six weeks? Nedra
  3. Maltesima, They are starting to get harder! I wil have to check on them in the morning but they do seem to be drying out. I hope they turn out okay. You are right I need to invest in a stick blender. I will before I do it next.
  4. Yes I am an addict now. I need a saop box for sure. It was really fun. I had to stir it for two hours but it was awesome.

  6. here is a picture of my first CP soaps..I made them yesterday. It is cabernet with oatmeal. I made it in a shoe box. Thanks everyone who answered my questions a few weeks ago.

  9. Thanks. I think the shoe box is the best idea for now. Maybe if I really get into it my grandpa will make a me a wooden box with a lid. I have a nice size stainless steel pot so I am good to go on that. DH really loves CP soaps so he is excited. He wants cabernet soap and I already have the body safe FO that I use to make candles.   10. Thanks for the help. I will look at the hardware store! I always thought walmart carried it but I hadn't actually looked yet. Now I am just looking for a good recipe and have to figure out were to get my ingredients. I am reading millersoap right now!

  12. Thank you. I seen the soaps that were made in the ice cream container. they turned out great. I am sure I will figure it out. I am going to read millers soaps over real good and read my soap book. I know I can get red devil lye at walmart. I was wondering if lye crystals is different they red devil lye at walmart?
  13. I am looking at millersoap.com Where is the best place to get lye crystals? Or if it says 12 ounce lye crystals in a recipe can I just use liquid instead? Thank you.
  14. HI! I am planning on making my first CP soaps in September. If I make a 2 pound recipe what is some good molds I may have around the house? I was thinking a aluminum foil boxs since it already has a lid on it. I wonder how many of these I will need? Any ideas? I seen that in a soap book. Nedra
