The suggestions are not based on personal experience. I understand where you and IslandGirl are coming from. In the future, I'll only mention the candlemakers store as a response to posts if it's likely that candlemakers is one of very few suppliers that can provide a solution to the problem. Hopefully that works for everyone. If I continue to see that users of this forum are only interested in answers from people with personal experiences dealing with their problem, then I'll discontinue participation. That's fair. It's not my intention to upset anyone. I've tried to stay away from suggesting a particular brand for a common fragrance. I've mostly tried to comment when someone is asking for a unique fragrance that they've had trouble finding and I know of a place that has the unique fragrance. Do you think this is an acceptable thing to do? If not, I won't post on this forum in the future.

I do direct people to use Candlemakers Store, but only when it makes sense to do so. I don't give out any false advice or suggest Candlemakers unless the poster could find a solution to their problem by using the Candlemakers Store website.

The Candlemakers Store has a Patchouli Amber fragrance. I'm not sure if it has any sandalwoodish qualities or not. But you might give it a shot. Good luck!

From the way I understand it, the Pier One fragrance is close to Tuscan Herb which is supposed to have a mixture of currant, leafy greens, basil and sandalwood. That probably doesn't help you much, but that's all I've got.

Candlemakers Store has a "Love on the Beach" and a "Sex on the Beach." You could give those a try if you feel so inclined.

I don't know how easy they are to remove, but The Candlemakers Store has these wickstickers that make attaching wicks to containers easy. They're $2.29 for a pack of 100, so it's probably worth a shot.
