  1. I use glass pyrex measuring cups, small and large. The spouts on them are great. These are so easy to clean up....just pop in the microwave, wipe with towel and wash.
  2. This is what I used at first http://www.craftamerica.com/storage_containers__page_5.htm They were great to pass out to friends and wholesale accounts. I'm now using the 1.5 hex jars. The scent seems to last longer in these than they did in the plastic containers. My husband built two nice divided boxes for me to showcase my scent samples.
  3. I have been using Vicky's oils and Ky125 soy wax for 2 1/2 years now. Three of her oils are my top sellers: Apple Clove Butter Cinna-Vanilla Sage & Sweetgrass Other good ones are: Cucumber and Cantaloupe Fresh Lilac Grandmother's Toddy Ocean Mist Mulberry Christmas Past Fresh Peach
  4. I've never seen that advertised on their website. I would email Vicky, the owner. She responds quickly.
  5. Right before I pour (at a slushy stage) I use my heat gun to warm up my jars a bit. With my wax, I can't use a heat gun to smooth out the tops, it makes it worse.
  6. Let me add.....they also go by Brighter Scents.
  7. klielac Did you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It's real easy to do. If you need help let me know. I know you won't hear anything back from them but I think the more complaints filed the better. My next recourse is legal. I sent them another email giving them the opportunity to either credit my card or send me the items otherwise I will take legal action. Of course, they didn't respond nor do they answer their phones. They are getting away with this too many times. I am looking for all avenues to reconcile this for myself and others. Melody
  8. Ok, I thought maybe it had something to do with how the candle would burn. Melody
  9. I understand turning the "v' in the wicks. but what is the purpose of putting the wick tabs up against each other? Melody
  10. Here are some of the oils I use from Nature's Garden in KY125 Soy Wax. They are all strong and I love them. Apples & Oak Bay Rum Butt Naked Caribbean China Rain Chocolate Covered Cherries (Yum) Coconut Lime Verbana Cool Water Cracklin' Birch Fresh Outdoors Hot Cocoa Mango Papaya Monkey Farts Moonlight Path Type Pomegranate Reindeer Poo Sandalwood Satin Sheets Sex on the Beach I've got more samples to try but as you can see I love their oils.
  11. Those are so awesome. You are very creative. I love the soap with the dots. Melody
  12. Thanks for the responses. Great study LuminousBoutique. Your study results shows what I thought was happening with some of my best fragrances. This board is great. Melody
  13. I don't see anything that needs to be improved. Those are perfect. I would say color combination is right on. Melody
  14. Wow.....those are absolutely gorgeous and unique. Melody
