I was on the site TN site earlier today and saw the Pretty in Pink. I was wondering about it. It sounds like it would be delish!

I ditto that you can't beat her customer service. I just received my oils today that I ordered on Tuesday, OOB the Baby's Room smells great, just like Vanilla and Baby Powder. I'm not so sure about the Baby Fresh. The scent description says it smells just like its namesake. Well, my baby doesn't smell like this! LOL! Maybe it will be different once I put it in wax. I sure hope. I'll post the results after I finish testing.

Hi, just wondering i anyone ever orders FO's from Julie. I found her on ebay and if you purchase off ebay she has no shipping charge. If you purchase from her website she only charges 20 cents for each box. I believe that also applies to her wax. I have tried the following from her......................... Children's Room......smells just like Love's Baby Soft and has a strong cold and hot throw in IGI 4786 Vanilla Hazelnut.............Not crazy about this but had someone request it and it also has good cold and hot throw in IGI 4786 California Girls...........smells like Pina Colada, good cold and hot throw in IGI 4786, this was one of her closeout FO's 7up Pound Cake.........used this in 100% soy, not a strong cold throw and had to wait around 2 weeks for a pretty good hot throw. Could have been stronger, but the actual scent itself is more Pound Cake with a hint of 7up. I have just ordered Baby Fresh and Baby's Room to test in soy. I'm all about the baby scents right now!

Thanks Meredyth and Marisa! I have tried Spiced Apples and Peaches from The Candle Source and I absolutely love it. I will have to try TN Candles version. I love any kind of peachy smell! You can't seem to go wrong with any kind of Cinnamon scent. Most people seem to love it so I will be trying it as well. Thanks again.

Thanks Sharon and Angie, I love Lovespell so I will definitely be trying that one. I need a good Pumpkin Pie, the last one I bought was not that great. You could hardly smell the Pumpkin at all. Always need a good Cinnamon Bun. I have never tried anyone's Butterscotch, Carmel Corn nor Christmas Slendor so I will be adding those to my list. Thanks again!

Hi Don, Thanks for the recommendation's. I will be adding those also to my ever growing list. I especially would like to try the Cool Water because I love the smell of the cologne. I have never been inside their retail store, but have emailed them for support and they were always very helpful and friendly. Overall I have been very pleased with them.

Hi, thanks for letting me know. They are the only place I have bought wax from because the shipping is pretty good. It cost me a little less than $15 bucks for shipping 50lbs of wax and some other items. Which I thought was great because most places I have checked are over $20 bucks just on shipping the wax. I know I wasn't impressed with the Pink Grapefruit I ordered from them. That was only because I expected it to smell like Pink Grapefruit not Creamsicle. If i had wanted Creamsicle then it would have been perfect. That's a new one FO's lasting forever. Never heard that before.

Thanks Judy, I will have to add those to my list for my next order. I definitely will not try the Rain. I hate that funeral flowers smell! I've had a few scents that remind me of that. Blah! Oh, on another note, I just received your samples from the classified ad. They all smell good OOB. I can't wait to start testing. Thanks again.

Hi, I would think the scent would be stronger in a tart than a candle, because you get a full meltpool quicker with a tart than you would in a candle. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for the head's up. I just placed an order with them. The website sale prices are even better than ebay's. I ditto what Laura said about the Sunwashed Linen and Blueberry Cheesecake. I poured with IGI 4786 and they were very strong. The Spiced Apples and Peaches and Magnolia is great in 100% soy. Great cold and hot scent throw. The Vicks Vapor Rub was not that great in 100% soy. Didn't have much of a throw, but I only poured them a few days ago so they may get stronger.

Thanks Sharon, the Lemon Cheesecake sounds great. I know alot of people who like Cranberry, but if the throw is not that strong I will keep away from it. I have placed one order with TN Candles for wicks and I ordered some Candy Corn FO with it. I haven't got around to testing it yet, but hopefully it will throw well. Thanks again.

In fact I'm going check after I finish typing this. Judyvega, I hate that you moved far away from Aztec. I just wish I had someplace near by that I could stop by and pick up candle supplies. Oh, how I wish! Thanks for letting me know some of their good scents. I am going to make a list and try then next time I order. Has anyone tried their Pink Grapefruit? It is one of the FO's they bought out from Cape Coral. I really like Pink Grapefruit and was excited to try it, but when I received it, it smells just like creamsicle or dreamsicle. I know people have different names for it, but it was not anything like Pink Grapefruit. Just thought I'd let ya'll know in case you wanted to try it.

Hi Jennie, I'm not from NM, I live in Tennessee. Aztec has a store in Knoxville. Thanks for asking though. What type of wax do you use? I use IGI 4786 and soy and would like to get something that throws well in both. I might just have to try the Pina Colada. :smiley2:

Hi Laura, I love the Candle Source FO's, the prices and shipping are great! I used soy wax to make tarts with their spiced apple and peaches and also their magnolia. Both had strong cold and hot scent throw. I also tried the vicks vapor rub in tarts, but it was not as strong as I was hoping. I only made them a few days ago, so hopefully they will get stronger the longer they cure. I have some more of their scents I haven't tested yet. Hopefully I will get around to doing it soon.

Hi, Does anybody buy fragrance oils from Aztec? If so, what are some good one's? They are in the same state as me and I order my wax from them. So, shipping costs are pretty good. I've only ordered a few scents from them and would like some more input before I purchase more. Their Fresh Linen is awesome in IGI 4786. They have a Hawaiian Tropic, but I was not to impressed with it. It was stong, but not exactly the smell of the tanning lotion. TIA

Hi, I hope this isn't a dumb question!:embarasse I was testing today for the first time with a wick I have never used before. It is an Aztec Premier Wick 2.5. for vegetable wax. I am testing in a 5oz ginger jar. Well, I noticed that the top of the wick has a slight curl to the left when burning. So, the wax on the left is burning all the way to the edge of the jar, but the right side has a slight hang up. Is this caused from the curl in the wick? Thanks for any info.

Thanks Kerry. I will cut back on the beeswax and see if that helps. It's good to know that I am not the only one who has had trouble with the grapefruit. I thought maybe it was something I was doing wrong and I let this candle cure for 2 weeks. The two candles that I have poured without the beeswax are baby hugs and VS heavenly. At least I can smell them. I only poured them yesterday, so I am going to let them cure and then test. I will keep testing and post my results. I am buying a heat gun to see if that helps smooth the candle tops. Thanks for all your help.

Well, with this candle I used 1oz beeswax to 1lb soy wax. I made some tarts that came out great with 2oz beeswax to 1lb wax. The first 2 pictures are of the candles without beeswax. The candle with beeswax actually looked good until I burned it. It has no scent throw, I think that the scent I used, pink grapefruit just doesn't throw good in this wax. I am just getting really discouraged with this wax. Thanks for the advice.
