  1. Please tell me I can use GB464 to make pillars from eamless molds. I just bought 150 lbs thinking I could. Hopefully I did not throw away my money..lol Please let me know, if not can I blend it with something else to be able to use to make some pillar candles. Thanks, Lu
  2. Thanks for the information. I have been looking for something like this.
  3. Thanks I am driving to my uncles in HIckory NC for XMas. I will make a stop at Candle Science and pick up a nice big order since they are close to him..lol
  4. Wow so no one in here that lives in Florida buys locally:(. I am trying to look for a supplier in Florida but it seems we do not have any. DO oyu guys order wax in 50 lb increments or that too much wax for a beginner? Thanks for the responses.
  5. Thank You very much for replying. I have been reading on this site for 4 days and have stumbled on allot of oyur posts. Thanks again. I was thinking of going the soy route but am new to this hobby so I need to figure out what would be easiest for us.
  6. I went to JCPenny's with my girl friend and we were walking and noticed a Yankee Candle stand with like 100 candles in different sizes and fragrances. I must have smelled half of them and wow some smell awesome. I am a newbie to this hobby and have already placed 2 orders with Candlechem.com. I originally bought the 4 pillar seamless molds and melted some used candles and re-wicked them with the wick from candlechem. Wow for our first candles they came out good and smell good. We are addicted to this hobby. I am researching like crazy on candle making and I just can't get enough. We are now trying to research what kind of wax or soy wax to buy. Their are soo many different ones to choose form that it can be confusing. Thanks for suh a wonderful site.
  7. LOL, I looked through that list with no luck for FLorida. I wanted to see if people from Florida had found a local supplier.
  8. Wow that looks like you had allot of fun...
  9. New guy here...Hello to Everyone! I live in the Florida area and cant find any candle suppliers locally other than CandleChem.com. I want to buy Soy wax but their shipping is 40.00 UPS ground for a 50 lb. case of it. Anybody know of any suppliers within a few hours drive of tampa Bay Florida? Also, I've mostly bought my first candle making supplies from CandleChem and they ship pretty fast. Can any florida local recommend some places they use to buy supplies as well like FO's. Thank you
