Oh My Goodness, they are all awesome. I have been out of commission with health issues and am getting back into soaping, but I have been chicken. Looking at your gorgeous works of art, just might push me back into it. Excellent job!
I have always soaped Meat Shortening using the SAP for Tallow and have never had a soft bar of soap. I just used more harder oils/butter than soft ones. Actually came out to be a pretty awesome soap.
I can't find any Palm oil locally, but if you have ethnic stores nearby, you might want to check there. I don't have stores like that near me, so I always have to order online. Sorry I could not be of much help.
Just wanted to let you all know that if you get your lye from Sarah's, she has sold the supply portion of her business to another soapmaker. So as of this time, you can't get any lye from her.

I didn't make that recipe, but instead of using chocolate squares, I used hot chocolate mix. Scented it with a Chocolate FO and Swirled with the hot cocoa mix. Smells so good, you do want to eat it.
Has anyone ever tried Tony's White Magnolia. I am in search of an FO that is a true scent to real Magnolia Blossoms. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
I like it, too, it is simple and effective...however, have you thought of maybe a pastel color for the background instead of a border.....Just my thoughts. Your butter looks YUMMY!
