  1. Don't be discouraged ashleylynn.. I have only recently joined this forum as well as the hobby of candlemaking. I do it as a hobby and I am enjoying it thus far. Since the day I joined, I have looked through many many threads trying to get as much info as I can (with the intention of some day giving some helpful info in return) and I too have noticed that sometimes ppl can come off a bit harsh... (perhaps not intentionally) My advice is to take away what you can from those posts that do HELP you.. after all that is the purpose of this forum... there are alot of ppl that are willing to help you here and they have a ton of experience..while others have a ton of experience but a lack of tactfulness or the inability to filter what they want to say before it comes out the wrong way. I think some folks are rude and don't even realize it... so learn what you can from these awesome folks but have fun doing it.. what good is a hobby if you're stressing right? enjoy! I hope it all works out for you!!!:rolleyes2 big hugs!
  2. Thanks FarmerJill. I found the ones that I need on this site after looking all over oklahoma city... I was hoping to find a local store.. I just can't believe that I'm going to pay almost 12.00 for shipping on an item that costs 2.29:angry2: Ridiculous...oh well.. I guess the bright side is that they have them and I don't have to buy 3000 of them.. lol.. they come in packs of 125.
  3. :confused:I'm on day 2 of searching local stores for the polypropelene containers... exhausting! I have found the size just the wrong material!! any suggestions!??
  4. I agree-shooters is a bit "different" but to each their own.. If my experimenting goes well and I decide to go that far I won't be calling them shooters.. I was thinking just plain ole "soy melts":p
  5. Now that reply was as simple as it gets.. Def appreciate the way you broke that down for her.. seriously..its nice to know that there are ppl out there that can answer your questions without making u feel like a complete moron... I appreciate you!
  6. Dee, Thanks.. I am def looking for some and I am grateful that you caught me before I went out and purchased the wrong containers.. I would love to see what u have for sell HOWEVER, I am a newbie to the forum and I am not yet able to access certain priveleges. According to the info I got from the moderator I have to have 8 posts and be in the forum for atleast 30 days before I can have access to PM system, profiles, attachments, Marketplace or Off-Topic sections.. Do you have any other way of getting the info (pictures, prices etc) I can give you my email if that is permissable.
  7. thanks so much for your help!
  8. joanncat, thanks for your reply.. this website is one of the sites I came across when researching. I love these things! However, I can't find the information on HOW to do them. I know that the containers can be found at Sam's.. they are little plastic condiment containers.. but how do u pour? what instructions for use etc. any idea?
