  1. I have been making and selling tarts for 6 years now and have used many different waxes, and I agree that KY is the best for scent throw cold and hot.....1 0z FO is all you need. Very easy to pour and clean up. Mary Lou

  4. I have done the exact same thing, have never had a problem umolding them. I also use PVC for candle molds. Lowe's and Home Depot are great Craft stores.:yay: Mary Lou

  6. Several years ago I made a bunch as favors they came out wonderful,,,they unmold well but will have a seam around the middle that you will need to polish out. I think I have a photo. Mary Lou
  7. Don't like Yankee ..never liked Yankee...don't see what the infatuation with Yankee is...they top scent their candles and just rip off the customer . Your candles look lovely. Where did you get your jars? Great tags and presentation! Mary Lou
  8. I am new here and just devouring all the posts I can. I have been doing M&P for many years and feel, as many of you do , that you can be very creative with it. Now I have a question for you all; whose base do you use and why? I have used SFIC for many years, never tried any other. Mary Lou
  9. I bought them from CandleWic several years ago on sale for .18 ea. per 100. I bought 300 they are great. One word of caution don't soak them in water to clean...they will rust. (Ask me how I know:sad2: ) Now I just place them upside down on a cookie sheet covered with paper towels in the oven at about 200 degrees for about 10 mins....works great! Mary Lou
