Yes, a white cake fragrance or even "birthday cake" would be good. You need to be careful with florals because they can be very overpowering and strong and quite nauseating to some people. Not all people are into florals. Actually Daffodil is a great seller for me and it is intensely strong and I wouldn't want to be smelling that all day or if I'm eating, smelling it at the same time. Let us know what you come up with. Trappeur

Thankyou thankyou everyone for the kind comments. I just wanted to share like I usually do. I got up at 3:00 this morning like I have been doing lately and between 3:00 this morning and noon I made these 48 candles plus about another 12 candles for stock for ongoing orders. I petered out about 1:00 this afternoon, went and layed down in bed for a long , lol, 7 hour nap..now its 9:00 and I'm raring to go again. Have to top off all the candles I made for this order I have to get delivered. But I love making my candles! Trappeur

What fragrance(s) have been your best sellers this past year (2018) whether you sell to stores or craft shows or consignment? Any new ones that you added to your regular line? Any fragrances that you dropped? Any new style jars? I'll go first..... I sell to stores. One store pretty much stays the same even though she did try a few new scents. Her jars are the 22oz tureens and the tiny 5oz italian canning jars. #1 Seller is Pineapple Cilantro #2, #3, #4: pretty much stays the same; Basil, Sage, & Mint, Lux Linen, Lemon Verbena #5: Crackling Firewood which is renamed Christmas Hearth (she sells all year long). Sales doubled this year on this scent. Slower sellers this past year due to her burning only what she likes which is the Pineapple Cilantro her sales went down on the Chardonnay, Vanilla Champagne and Southern Sweet Tea. My biggest account (the apple orchard) There is no best sellers there as they all sell....as long as their name is on the label, they all fly out the door. Even new scents sell equally as well. Another account a little country store in the back woods here the best sellers are: #1: Orange Creamsicle #2: Cinnamon Broom #3: Balsam Fir #4: Farmhouse Cider Their jar is the pint canning jar with black lid. Pineapple Cilantro is a new one I made up for this shop this past year and it's really moving pretty fast. Tropical scents are moving pretty well....you wouldn't think here in the mountains that that type scent would move but they are. I just got in a sample of Monkey Farts from RE and it really is a wonderful scent that I'm loving myself and I'm not into that type scent. I made up samples and brought to all these shops of a dupe of Aveda called Rosemary mint and 2 shops are going with this new one. Trappeur

I thought I would share pictures of my Easter labels for my apple orchard account. Every year I make up a small limited collection of Easter candles for the displays that they make up in the orchard store. I use the pint canning jar for this account with yellow and green lids from Fillmore. So this small collection I did I did in assorted labels as shown. They really work real nice together. Thanks for looking! Trappeur This yellow label I'm just doing in Apple Cider Donut. For this pink label I did a blend of Lilac from Flaming and Vanilla Voodoo from Candle Cocoon. For this green label I did in Lemon Cheesecake and Coconut Caramel from Flaming. Boy if you haven't tried this Coconut Caramel, you need to! It's awesome! For this green label I did in Pineapple Marshmallow Peeps. Its a blend of Pineapple Cilantro from Flaming and one of my Marshmallows For this label I did 1 scent in Fresh Rain from Fillmore and then another scent called Daffodil which is a blend I do using Daffodil from Flaming and Fresh Cut Grass from Flaming. Is a great combo blend!

I was going to try some of their oils but mostly all of their oils are designer type, cologny and spaish and I don't particularily care for those type scents so pretty much of all of them don't appeal to me. Trappeur

Morning Marleigha! Geesh we are the early birds aren't we? ha! Geesh I missed that "clean cotton scent" on the site. Couldn't find it.....well thanks! My clean cotton scent I've been using for years is Luxe Linen from Community but I just got in an order from them and never ordered more of the Luxe and I don't want to pay 18.00 to ship just one oil when that is all I need. Candle Science I think I do need to get an order to them and I guess I could order this clean cotton. And that sounds like a beautiful blend of Candybee's of Clean cotton and lavender. The Jar Store has them and Aztec too. Check on the sizes though. Pretty much every supplier out there carries those jars - lots of people go with the flat lids instead of the bubble lids. Just do searching like we all do. trappeur
