    Does anyone have a supplier they like using for peppermint fragrance oil or do I need to use peppermint essential oil? I have never used essential oils so I dont know the prooper amounts to use in CPOP soap. Thanks in advance

    Ah Soy, Not to be an idiot but if I did 3oz oils (8oz was with sugar) then in grams would it be .9 grams for the preservative? Thanks,

    If the entire concotion is 8 oz I should use put .08 liquipar but my scale does not do .08 the nearest would be .1. Any ideas in teaspoon size what .08 would be? Thanks so so much!

    You know what, I was wondering if it was the liquipar. I have been using way too much. Way more than I need but I am still not sure what is right. It is only of the oils? OMG, have I been using way, way, way too much. Hit my head. Do you think that is what the problem is?

    Not a Dumb Question..........silly of me not to post all of that. My FO is cosmetic grade. My recipe is: 1/2 cup Turbinado Sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup Sweet almond Oil Liquipar FO......not accurate but I would say maybe a 1/10 of an oz. I don't know.....maybe 20 drops. Until nicely scented. I kinda cook this way too so it might not be the best course for formulating b & b products.

    SoapFreak, What recipe do you use to keep your soap so creamy milky looking? Mine always has a yellowish tint to it. I want a creamy milky colored bar. Maybe too much olive oil? Thanks,

    I have been making sugar scrubs and I love them. However, I decided to try out the entire recipe and added the preservative............liquipar and i added a F.O. ................Coconut Lime Verbena. Well, my skin got really hot, turned red and went kinda numb like. So does anyone have any idea if I had an allergic reaction and if it could have been from the Liquipar or the F.O? I have used F.O.'s before but not this one. I have never used the liquipar before. I used sweet almond oil but i have used that in smaller quantity before. Thanks,

    Hi all, I really need to know what the best products are to color soap, body butter and bath salts. I purchased some mica that I believe will work for the soap. Is that right? If so, can I also use that for the body butter and bath salts? Thanks in advance!

    Ok, maybe I am dense and maybe I am gullible but why would I get liability insurance for products with all natural igredients..........CP Soap, Sugar Scrup, Body Butter, etc? I mean doesn't someone already know if they are allergic to a particular ingredient ad if they do not, how would it be my fault? My question is...........Do I really need to get the insurance upfront? I was hoping to see how my business did before I spent the money? Does everyone who sells B & B products, have insurance? Thanks,

    Hi All, Just to give you an update: Yes, I did call. Today was my fourth call if I remember correctly. My package has been shipped. Sounds like they are trustworthy. The shipping time is a little slow, however, they have a scent I want that is hard to find so now that I am aware of it, I can plan next time.

    Hi All, I am working on perfecting my sugar scrub. Actually, I like it the way it is but I get the opinion that others might want it a bit more of a slurry. I use two cups of dark brown sugar with apricot kernel oil and jojoba oil. Just enough to make the brown sugar saturated but not at all liquidy. As it is, that amount of oil can get pricey for two cups of sugar scrub! What all do you think of adding Soybean Oil to it to make it more of a slurry?
