  6. My DH and I are into Volkswagens and I make Jewelry and beaded charms. My question is I have a bunch of VW Bug Charms and would like to make Treasure Candles will the fragrance eat or rust the charm. There not tin so I don't think they will.I have a all natural cotton twine to wick with any suggestions on if I should coat the cotton wick in wax or will the wax from the pour be suff?Hope this isn't to confusing.I did do a test burn with the same type of wick and it burned great ,nice pool, wick didn't droop was pleased my main concern is the rusting of the charm.Thank You
  7. I use pariffin wax from Hobby Lobby and Steric 2 Tbls. per pound of wax.I pour around 170 to 180.Dip the picture a couple of times to get air bubbles that collect on the photo.Postion it with metal spoon, then take a cold rag acroos the outside of where the photo is to form like a glue for the photo or till it's white.Rubbing hard with sppon across picture.Put in cold water bath till thickness layer is achieved cut with sharp knife, dump remaining wax then trimof exces waxx then leave sit till cool and pop in freezer for about 10 min.Sorry so long winded but this is what I do.

  15. I have a Lexmark printer and do all my labels with either my Scrapbook Factory or Microsoft Works and use all types of paper from printer paper,Avery or Staples Brand Sticker,Clear and Card Stock.I was having problems with my printer not feeding the paper and the paper feed roller was smooth the guy at the computer shop told me to use rubbing alchol with q-tip on the feeder roller to get it tacky feeling to grab the paper. It wasnt printing my blue right on my test page so I took the ink out and wiped of the bottom where the ink comes out and it worked as far as buisness cards I went to Staples and for 500 basic I spent 10.99 and had them make them.Hope this helps
