eta... I originally tried the snowtop cranberry orange spice but it did have the spice element that I didn't want....the JS one does not have the spice...so I do like both for different reasons

Ooooh - I like the snowtop one as well...I used to blend it with their baked apples and it was the most amazing scent blend ever!

I've had really great luck with Just Scent'ss in every application I've tried....cp soap, soy wax, comfort blend, etc.

I'm not so much a fan....I think it would be an amazing dupe except for the uber-fake banana smell that is very prominent (imo). Scent is so subjective so ymmv but I see threads here and there looking for a Hawaiian Tropics dupe and for me, this is not the one. Jen

For the most part I just make my own...so easy! But I've used BCN before and thought that was nice. I'd heard decent things about OT's but it's not holding up well in the heat (I live in MN so it's not like it's *that* hot!) plus it has a weird aftertaste so I'll pass on using any more of it. But srsly - making your own is so easy. Play a bit to get a recipe you like and then make in bulk so you always have your own base to use!

AGE looks to be oos again on Salty Mariner . I keep meaning to order it but it's always (seems to be) oos.

Does anyone have suggestions for an awesome coconut lemongrass for candles? I use a myriad of waxes...EZ Soy, J50, 4630, etc... Thanks! Jen

Yeah...good salt bars should not be scratchy nor drying. Mine are super bubbly too! I do 100% coconut (monoi if I'm feeling decadant) with a 10% SF and use equal salt (plain old table salt) to oils. Those suckers are hard as brick, feel like washing with polished stone, and crazy amounts of luscious bubbly goodness (that leaves you feeling lotioned - not tight and dry). What's not to love?

a) they didn't have that on there when I purchased and even if they did.....b)that's not a safety usage rate - it's just a general guideline or starting point. I'm guessing the pumpkin pie (because of the cinnamon content) is going to have a different safety usage rate then say...strawberry. Plus - you really should measure by weight and not by volume. A tsp of one can be quite different than a tsp of another because of the weight. Same thing with fos - right?!? A bottle of one fo may only be filled 3/4 full whereas another might be all the way to the top but each weigh 16oz. Flavor oil usage rates vary wildly with suppliers. I think BCN's usage rate is up to 6% whereas others are down as low as 1%. I personally would like to know the safety usage rate - especially if its something I'm going to sell.

My only complaint is that they don't post usage rates (or at least they didn't last time I checked). I did email because my lips burned from using the Pumpkin Pie and was told no - they don't have usage rates which I find pretty irresponsible for a supplier not to know. Regardless, I love many of their fos so continue to order from OT.

If so - can you recommend a %? They don't have it on the bottle and when I asked, they were unable to provide the recommended %. Because of the cinnamon in there, I don't want to strip my lips :undecided unnecessarily.

I adore monoi...I get mine from Olive Branch Soaps but don't know if she's selling supplies anymore...I have 8 lbs all for me so I think I'm good to go for a while.

Celestial Colors are awesome! I love her color combos. I don't know if they bleed or not though...

The one from OT is yummmmmy! Very spicy. Love it!

I don't like the look of bevelled soap so no - I don't bevel .
