  1. Thank you both for the suggestions. I have some sugar cookie and red hot cinnamon and vanilla. I will try those. I normall use Lonestar's Cinnamon Buns. It is awesome. But I just don't want to place another order this close to the end of the season. I'm trying to save up for Christmas. Thanks again!
  2. No one has any suggestions???? I am done placing orders for fragrance oils for the season. I was hoping I could mix one up.
  3. I am almost out of my cinnabun fragrance oil and just got an order for three cinnabun candles. Any suggestions of mixing? Maybe birthday cake and cinnamon? I also have some of Berts Oatmeal Cinnamon crunch that I could use. TIA
  4. First off, CONGRATS to Mr and Mrs Prairieannie. Not alot in the pot this weekend. I have a terrible cold, but at my show last weekend, I sold out of ornies, so today I have 8 pounds of scented beads to make into ornies. These are the scents that will be filling my home: Pina Colada Ocean Clean Cotton Cool Water Orange Spice Lemon Drop Warm Vanilla Sugar Apple Pie Good Luck to all who have shows.
  5. oh dear....there is some adorable stuff there....i am sooooooo in trouble!!!
  6. Thank you all for your expertise. Maybe I did wait too long between layers. And from the looks of mine compared to some of the beauties I've seen here, I need to pour thinner layers. They did turn out pretty though IMHO. I will post a pic when my camera is charged back up. Thanks again
  7. Hi e....I am trying my hand at layered rustics such as the beautiful ones you make. I am using 1343 wax, no additives, .75 oz fo pp. I heat to 190 add fo then cool to 150-155 and pour. My question is this. My layers arent adhered real well to one another. Do you have any suggestions to rememdy this? I thought pouring hotter would help, but am afraid it will ruin the rustic. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
  8. I just got 10 of these yesterday. Haven't had time to test them yet. I will do them this weekend. Did you single wick or double wick?
  9. LOL:laugh2: I don't even get to use DH's cordless drill to drill my wick holes. And I bought it for him as a Christmas present!!!!
  10. Oh dear....do I dare ask how you might know this? LOL I think any seasoned candle maker has been burnt a time or two on their heat gun. Then we learn to be more careful. Hope it didnt leave scars. I picked mine up by the barrel one day. :embarasse I've not done it since.
  11. Trying to finish my stock for my first show of the season next weekend. 13. I have stumbled into the great world of votives and face an issue. I want to shrink wrap them. I am thinking of getting the tubing. Should I get 2" or 4"? Or should I get little tiny shrink wrap bags? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA:D
