  1. How much is our skin worth? These commercial brands are filled with a bunch of crap. They are basically detergent. How much money do people spend a month on Burt's Bees stuff and the like? I seen a bottle was like, $8.00, or was it $14.00? Anyhow, I look at back on the ingredients and it says powdered milk and butter milk. I can throw that together in my own kitchen! So I do. How many Starbux' are out there? It is $5.00 for a cup of coffee!! So you mean to tell me someone can't spend 5-6 on a nice soap for your body that is going to nourish your skin and actually moisturize it? A bar of soap last alot longer than the cup of coffee! You need to believe in your product, if you don't nobody else will either.

Thanx so much for your helpful suggestions Ann! What lotion base do you use?

I was at the craft store today and the m & p's there didn't look too good. I have been looking at the soap crafters website and am interested in their goats milk m& p, it says it has 10% goats milk. I recently heard lots of recommendations on another soap forum for sfic, in particular their complexion base thru Wisteria Lane. It sounds really good with 5% goats milk and 15% mango butter. prairieannie: Hello. I am looking to order some m&p in the next week or so. I was interested in your post as I have been on the catalina site before. I was most intrigued by their body lotion base. Have you ever tried that? I looked at their goat milk soap base and it didn't say how much goat milk was in it. What makes it so much better than sfic? I am new to all this and any advice would be appreciated. Thanx!
