  1. Have 2 new vendors, and one is driving me batty! She calls every time she sells 2 candles! Oh well, that way I can keep on top of it! Finished up 8 oz jars...will start on cinnamon buns on Monday.
  2. OMG! I live about 15 mins from Tennessee Candle Supplies, and about 1 1/2 hrs from Aztec, although I haven't used them yet. I have been pondering doing so. I have always used Tennessee Candle Supplies...no shipping! I live in Elizabethton, about 20 mins from the NC border(Roan Mtn., Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Asheville) at Beck Mountain Corn Maze, a wonderful place to visit with your family! I love living in Tennessee!
  3. I love those! I did tri colored candles for Valentine's Day...Pink, red and white, but I love these even more!!!
  4. How cool! I am sooo going to start doing pillars!
  5. Gorgeous! I wish I was ready to try pillars...
  6. Working on testing the cinnamon buns and the pan of cinnamon bun mold for wicks...
  7. Ok...I have tested the technique...now on to testing burning and a container appropriate for display AND burning...any suggestions?
  8. I got my first kit at Michaels, using their 40% off coupon...which gave me a 4# pot and thermometer for almost 1/2 retail! www.tennesseecandlesupplies.com also has a kit which has prewicked jars, a couple liq dyes, some f.o., wax, mmmmm around $50.00 I believe, oh ans I think a 4# pot as well...I have purchased both.
  9. Does anyone here do hand rolled cinnamon buns? This is my next big experiment! I also have a cinnamon bun silicon mold, which I can't find at the moment, but plan to use as well...holds 2# or 3# but I have not actually used it yet.
  10. Fantastic! I hope to begin pillars shortly! I hope mine will eventually turn out this good!
  11. These are gorgeous! I love them! I also do tealight lanterns from cans, but not rusted, what a cute idea!
