  1. Maybe too much info here...Any dyes or scents in laundry soap or dryer sheets makes me run to my gyno. She says they are horrible for a healthy "chucky".
  2. I agree with marcuset. Lorrie is awesome to deal with and I always love whatever I get from her.
  3. Thanks Texas Brat! I was looking to do the same thing for a really cute childrens set. Found some great fabric & did what you said. Turned out really great!
  4. From Scented..."My thoughts: If I were in other industries, maybe I would see that big of a panic about OMG! stuff, but I'm not and I can't really let Lush set the standards for me either ... afterall, aren't they ones who don't package anything? So maybe if I were to buy there, I might get a snot ball as opposed to what I really overpaid them for." From TheQueen..." But I would never let Lush or any other vendor influence my ingredients list. Period." I love these statements! I'm right there with both of you.
  5. I can suggest who NOT to go with for sure! Lypha Networks who even after having the BBB try to help me, I never received my refund. I had them for 2 days and decided they weren't going to work out, tried to get my refund, no chance. Ipower is the other one. WORST customer service ever. You'll get 10 different answers from 10 different people when trying to solve a problem. They'll even go into your pages and make changes without you knowing until you go to check your website. I'm trying to find someone decent as well. It's not as easy as I thought it would be.
  6. AWESOME! Those are really beautiful Scented!
  7. With all the ingredients myself and others put into M&P..some soapers on here consider M&P "REAL" soaping. Me personally, I prefer M&P to the "other methods".
  8. I have a Print Workshop 2009...is this the same thing? It came with a CD...and I can't figure out how to use it.
  9. Those are adorable! I love the chefs hat! Can't sew to save my life though.
  10. I put mine in a pony tail and then wear a shower cap when I make my soaps. It's a lovely look.
  11. Don't feel dumb! And never let anyone make you feel dumb. With the cost of ingredients going higher all the time, it's worth it to ask. I've asked questions, and tho it may have been quite obvious to others, it wasn't to me. When I make stuff, I want to make sure I know what I'm doing, so I ask if there's a question.
  12. Please delete this post if possible, I figured it out.
  13. I looked through the threads and read that Milkyway & Brambleberry carry soap paints. Still trying to find these on their sites. Is there a favorite out there to anyone here? I also read on here where someone was told they could try mica mixed with alcohol. I'm going to try it since I have a lot of mica. What about oxide? I have a lot of that too, could that be melted down and used with alcohol as well? Or maybe just melted down and painted on? This is for M&P soap. Kids will be using this soap, so I'm not interested in anything acrylic.
  14. Thank you Firefly! I like the one on the bottom too. But even on that one, the letters "n" and "g" have the yellowing. I didn't use any FO on any of them.
  15. I made these because a friend of mine has a son playing in their State Championship football game today. Their colors are red & black. Of course the best one I did isn't a black & red one.:rolleyes2 But can someone look at the one on the right and tell me why it yellowed, to the very right of the soap. I didn't use any soap dye at all. And hopefully I am putting this picture on here right. edited to add...Now I see lots of yellow in this big picture, in each soap. *ugh* And sorry about the size, is there something smaller to choose from photobucket? I chose the IMG link for this link.
  16. If anyone is looking for great insurance for B&B, wax tarts & melts, this company is awesome. They don't cover anything with a wick, however, they we CAN write over 125 different types of "Home-Based" businesses with many arts & crafts & handicrafts classifications. I personally know they care about their clients & friends and conscientiously will always steer someone down the right path, even if it is not THEIR "policy path". They are a wealth of information. Ken Bomba has helped me find insurance for another business, something that his company doesn't offer. Just thought I'd let everyone know about this company. edited to add...the website would probably help! Sorry bout that! www.BombaInsurance.com
  17. Ok, a few more.... burlesque explicit sexualized raunchy pornographic Now I'm done.:tiptoe:
  18. I'm stealing from 2 people here.... Erotically Wet Oops..too many letters. I love Erotica.... I also love...Wet. How about...Deeply Wet? Wet Desires?? I better stop!:embarasse
  19. You should just quit? Are you kidding me?! If I could borrow the brains & creativity of you, Grumpy & Soapfreak for a month, I'd be a millionaire!
  20. Can something like this be done with M&P? Or close to it? Still scared of lye.:embarasse These are awesome!
  21. Leisa...."You can take my spot I will not likely be ordering from them again since my shipping for 1 soap mold was $10. something. And it autimatically charged me .80 for some donation thingy-ma-bob, that I didnt see." If I remember right, on the VERY bottom of the page where you make your payment choice on, there is a little space where you can donate, which automatically has a price in it, or you can do the drop down window and click "No donation" or something like that. I didn't see it for my first few times of ordering, but I remember it now every time.
  22. Now THAT sounds like a party! I bet everyone had a blast. Good for you for adding to the fun! I suck with names, so I won't give you a headache with that. *L* Just wanted to say kudos for making your party sound like fun.
