  1. Wow thats is very cool! Might have to try that and with a Kim Possible on it. Kids love that show.
  2. I can just say No, its just no one is listening. I have always loved experimenting, so this is a perfect activity for me. My only real decent pillar so far was the one that I tried to make it marbled. Came out great! I really should get a picture of it. Wish I remembered what I did though. Back on original topic... congrats again.
  3. Yeah I just ordered some. That and some Feather Piller.
  4. I havent tried it yet. I havent tried Palm at all infact. I did just order some though. I love CS!
  5. Hmm and I was just about to get some Palm to try out too.
  6. Congrats on your first pour. Having done my first pour only acouple of weeks I ago, I can totally understand your energy. I bet even the veterens feel it too. Funny thing, my first pour experience was with small (5oz) containers. The first batch (yes batch as I didnt know what I was doing.. still dont really) came out rather good. Very strong good cold throw. Not too bad Hot Throw. Afew had funky seporation from the sides (that I now know to be Wet Spots), and most had light frosting on tops. The Burn tests were even pretty good. Then my second pour. Not so good. I love every pour though.
  7. I just started my candle making adventures and I started with C-3 as well. Then went with P-1 for pillars (which I finally got a candle I can be somewhat proud of lastnight) I am thinking of trying out some Palm once I figure out how to get the other stuff (especially the C-3) to work the way I would like it to.
  8. Yeah one day I will become one with the Search button. You would think I create programs for a living that I would use them lol.
  9. I agree that it sounds like the glass might just need rubbing out. Also if you find that the tabs still arent sticking, you can try silcone. I havent used silcone yet but I have read afew posts and tutorials of people that have used it. Might even try a hot glue gun. Yeah What Amber Said
  10. Michi I havent used Paintshop Pro in over a year, but I do remember seeing quite a few tutorials online. Just do a google search for Paint Shop Pro tutorials. I did a quick search and the first page was loaded with site with infomation. The same goes for Photoshop. Also, because Photoshop is much larger in scope and user base, there are a great deal of books out there ranging from Photoshop for Dummies to very detailed books like 'Game Art' (Which I should probably read since I did buy it).
  11. Well I have only used C-3 as I bought a 50 lb box of it to start my playing with. Don't think I will do that again. Thats me though jumping in all the way even though I cant yet swim. As for the C-3 I am just starting out and havent tried anything else, but my first pour seemed really good, strong cold scent, with pretty much only slight frosting on top. My other test pours though have all pretty much been disappointing. But I chalked that up to just starting. I assumed this would be like juggling, where as I didnt just pick up 3 balls and magically was able to keep them in the air.
  12. This is awesome. I was going to ask the samething... eventually. I have only made a handful of container candles and I used liquid dye. I loved it. Still do in fact. But was wondering about blocks since I see alot of them offered for sale. I did place a small order so I can try them out too. Until then though I like liquid.
