  1. I forgot about Rice Bran Oil. I never use Olive Oil anymore.
  2. Avacado, and a newer one for me that I am really liking is Apricot Kernel Oil. Then of course Mango Butter and Shea Butter.
  3. I have some silk and still haven't used it. Thanks for the reminder.
  4. Wow that sucks. You would think they would be all for increasing their orders. Hope you find a good lotion!
  5. I'm an if it does, ok. If it doesn't, ok. I don't really care, it ends up the same.
  6. Any spray paint should work for wicker. You might want to rough up the surface a little with some sand paper or steel wool. It will help the paint stick. My MIL owned a fower shop and she painted her baskets all the time!
  7. So Drama Drama Time For Love of the Stage (long I know) Or how about just calling it Bankside?
  8. I'm actually on the other side of Arkansas. About 30 miles (as the crow flies) from TN. Right around the bootheel of MO.
  9. I'm in the north east corner of Arkansas, so KY is actually kinda close. Bittercreek, I forgot about them. I know Bittercreek south is in TX which isn't too far, not as close as KY. But I'll have to try them out. Off to check out Bittercreek North and South.
  10. I meant perfect blend. LOL Can you tell I have been to, too many sites. Everything is all jumbled up in the noggin! TN candle isn't much farther, so I might try them as well. From what I have read do most people prefer the htp wicks?
  11. I've got my eye on 3 different vendors. Tennessee Candle Which is the farthest from me. Ky Candle and Bluegrass candle which are about the same. Only thinking of shipping costs there. In case your wondering about how in the world can the TN place be further away than KY for an AR girl. Well I am in the north east corner. I'm about an hour from Missouri. So I really want to go with all soy, but I really don't understand the benefits of a blend. All I have read says that it might stick to the containers better, and not frost as much. Anyways, I'm thinking TN Celestial Soy. Ky 125 the new improved version. And from Bluegrass I'm not sure which one. They sound about the same. I have heard that Bluegrass is sometimes slow to ship, so I'm still kinda on the fence with that one. I figure what the heck I could give them a try and then I would know for myself. Then I think dang what if I try the wax and it's a fav. and then I have to wait forever to get the next shippment. LOL I am going to use a straight sided 8oz. Mason Jar. I can actually get them in bulk locally. Arkansas Glass Container Corporation is like 5 mins. from my house. So I like that I can get that locally, no shipping, YEAH. Now wicks.... uuuuugggggghhhhhhhh
  12. Here is one that I know of [email=http://www.saponifier.net/]http://www.saponifier.net/ . HTH
  13. Wow! You all are so nice!!! Most other forums yell and tell you to try search first. Geekrunner ~ Love the name, btw. You just spoke greek to me. The only thing I understood was other soys (I know of a few soys) and beeswax. LOL I'm trying to get some of the lingo down I just need to figure out what all of the numbers mean!
  14. Thanks, everyone! I think I'm going to try both and see. Craft Lobby is really close, but I'll have to search about them. Thanks!
  15. Reflective Luxuries Mountainside Reflections That is all I can come up with right now.
  16. I have also been adding the Fo to the oils. It is much easier that way. I do RT and last time my lye was a little cooler than RT. I had a great batch! It did take about 7 min. to trace but that's ok. I did a great swirl, and would have had time to swirl 2 colors.
  17. I didn't want to just lurk, so I thought I would say hi. I'm new here. My name is Tasha. I'm reading up on container waxes. It is just so confusing!!! I was going to go with Bluegrass, but have heard some bad reviews. So I think I might try Ky. Ok now that I have introduced myself, I'm off to more reading.
