    Wouldn't it be nice to have the original to compare to synthetics? I've used Peak and do not have a problem with it.

    Wow. How do any of you get JS stuff to throw in candles? Never had any of the oils work for me. Always thought DayStar was pretty much queen of the vanilla world too with the exception of that Vanilla Bean Noel. Good stuff.

    To get to your question and not the preference of others, add a little bit at a time. I cut out small rectangles, basically scoring the block down the middle and then across for guidelines. Depends on my batch, but I generally start with one of those chunks on a four-pound batch. Definitely check the color out before pouring. I had some pumpkin spice colored blocks that weren't a pumpkin color and they weren't remotely close. Couldn't do anything about it 2 years after buying them.

    Want to spruce up the tops, use cookie cutters if you don't want to buy a mold. Colors, brown and red for twigs and berries or add more colors to your list.

    If this is who I think it is, isn't she the one who thrives on causing trouble and threatens to sue people all the time? If I'm not mistaken, she's causing quite a problem with fragrance formulas that aren't even hers, but were sold to someone else. If it's her, why order from her? Seems she has no desire to have your business and if we're talking of the same person, I have no desire to give her mine, but that's what I've read about on a yahoo group.

    Sounds like the Yankee Candle fun factory (at least that's what I call it.) Anyway, why not just buy the tapers and then keep vats of colored wax warmed for them to dip in?

    What's wrong with shrink wrapping them? I guess I don't get why that doesn't work.

    I would feel a little weird using them and I don't have the space to display them, so I would likely stay far away.

    Well I've bought from a pretty reputable company, so I wouldn't see a need for them to lie about a product. Are you unsure you bought the real deal, is that it?

    What is a FOHO? As for fragrances, I know someone who has like 250 or more scents.
