  1. I think they look adorable! As long as no one mistakes them for candy ~Tracy
  2. Would the same recipe for a soap body bar be ok to use for washing dishes though? I want to make some that won't leave any residue or food left on my dishes. Something that's strong enough to remove grease, yet won't be too harsh. Orange essential oil would smell great!!
  3. Hello everyone!! I have a question that's been puzzling me. Is there a recipe for making liquid soap for washing dishes? I've been making CPHP for awhile and the question was posed to me recently. I honestly don't have an answer. If anyone can help that would be fantastic!!! TIA, Tracy:D
  4. Water--12.16 ounces Lye--4.15 ounces Fragrance Oil--1.5 ounces I think the problem was that I didn't have enough patience. It looks nice so far. I will post pics when I take them out of the molds. Crossing fingers
  5. I used this: crisco 25% lard 25% olive oil 15% castor oil 12% soybean oil 23% I used the SoapCalc for the amounts. I just got it to thicken up drastically, but it took awhile. Now I think things are on track
  6. I've been at it for about 20 minutes now and every time I stop it goes right back to a funkiness. Does the times vary with each recipe?
  7. Hello everyone! I am in the process of making my first batch of hot process soap and I'm having a big problem getting oils and lye/water mixture to trace. Any suggestions? TIA Tracy
